The Coca-Cola Company has announced that Jennifer Mann, Executive Vice President and President of the North America Operating Unit, will step down from her position effective 1 August 2026. John Murphy, currently President and Chief Financial Officer, will assume leadership of the North American operations on an interim basis while the company searches for a permanent successor.
Ms. Mann will remain with the company in the role of senior advisor until April 2027 to facilitate a transition period.
Leadership Transition
Ms. Mann has led the company’s largest operating unit since 1 January 2023, during which time the North America segment has reported growth in revenue and profit. Her departure concludes a 29-year career with the organisation, during which she held several leadership positions across operations and customer management.
Henrique Braun, CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, acknowledged Ms. Mann’s contributions, stating that her work has established high-performing teams across the business.
Career Background and Tenure
Throughout her nearly three decades at The Coca-Cola Company, Ms. Mann has occupied a range of executive roles:
Global Ventures: Served as President from 2019, overseeing operations including Costa Coffee and the company’s investment in Monster Beverage Corp.
Chief People Officer: Held the role of Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer from 2017 to 2019.
Executive Leadership: Acted as chief of staff to James Quincey from 2015 to 2018.
Operational Management: Managed the global expansion of Coca-Cola Freestyle from 2012 to 2015.
Ms. Mann joined the company in 1997 as a manager within the National Customer Support division. She currently holds board positions with organisations including Verizon Communications, Inc., the American Beverage Association, and Coca-Cola FEMSA.
The company has indicated that an announcement regarding a permanent successor for the North America Operating Unit role will be made at a later date.
