Better-for-you meat snack brand Chomps has expanded its retail footprint to more than 65,000 locations across North America, supported by new distribution listings across coffeehouses, warehouse clubs, hardware stores, and travel retail channels.

The retail expansion arrives alongside strong financial performance for the enterprise, driven by velocity gains across established retail stockists, rapid category entry into the chicken segment, and rising consumer demand for protein-dense, clean-label snacks.

Expansion and Distribution Growth

The distribution milestone reflects physical expansion across non-traditional and traditional retail channels. The brand's flagship Original Beef meat stick has entered Starbucks locations nationwide in the United States, alongside new international distribution through Costco Canada and hardware retail placement at Home Depot.

These recent listings build upon expanded wholesale distribution across Sam's Club, BJ's Wholesale Club, 7-Eleven, ExtraMile, RaceTrac, Yesway, Marriott, Lowe's, and Food City.

Key commercial performance metrics reported by the enterprise include:

MULO Revenue Growth: Recorded an 81 per cent increase in multi-outlet (MULO) dollar sales over the past 52 weeks.

Distribution Density: Doubled total points of distribution compared to the prior-year period.

Incremental Category Growth: 79 per cent of Chomps buyers represent incremental consumers entering the meat snack category for the first time.

Elizabeth Carter, President and Chief Operating Officer of Chomps, stated that consumer eating habits continue to prioritise daily protein intake, adding that the company's retail strategy focuses on expanding availability across daily coffee runs, afternoon snacking, and on-the-go routines.

Innovation and Performance

Alongside physical distribution growth, product innovation has served as a primary commercial volume driver for the business. Earlier this year, Chomps entered the poultry category with its first chicken sticks platform.

Within 12 weeks of commercial launch, the chicken line captured a 43 per cent dollar share of the chicken meat snack segment, representing the top three dollar velocity chicken SKUs in the category. Furthermore, consumer purchasing data indicates that 34 per cent of chicken stick buyers are first-time purchasers of the Chomps brand.

Clean Label Formulations and B Corp Certification

Manufactured using minimal processing parameters, Chomps products deliver between 10g and 12g of protein per serving depending on the SKU variant, formulated with zero sugar and without synthetic preservatives.

The brand holds B Corporation certification and recently achieved Non-UPF Verified status from the Non-GMO Project, certifying that its product architecture avoids ultra-processed ingredients and artificial formulations.

The multi-channel distribution push positions Chomps to capture sustained demand across mass, convenience, club, and speciality retail networks throughout North America.
