DalterFood Group, a key player in the Italian dairy sector, has officially commenced operations at its new cutting and packaging facility in Parma. Located on Via Emilio Lepido, the plant adds significant industrial capacity to the group following a year of record financial performance.

The opening comes as the company confirms it closed 2025 with a turnover of €200 million, a milestone that underscores the solidity of its business model amidst growing global demand for high-quality hard cheeses.

Strategic Expansion and Investment

The new facility serves as a second production hub, complementing the group’s historic plant in Sant’Ilario d’Enza. Originally acquired in 2022, the site underwent a complete renovation throughout 2025, supported by a specific €1 million investment.

This capital injection focused on the installation of new packaging lines and the modernisation of production infrastructure. While the first production runs have already begun, DalterFood Group confirmed that additional lines will become progressively operational in the coming months.

Operational Focus: Meeting International Demand

The expansion is designed to enhance operational flexibility and service levels for both domestic and international clients. The plant is dedicated to the cutting and packaging of hard cheeses, with a specific focus on Parmigiano Reggiano, a core export product for the group.

Key Facility Features:

  • Advanced Technology: Equipped with modern packaging technologies and advanced quality-control systems to ensure compliance with stringent market standards.

  • Sustainability: The renovation prioritised energy efficiency and environmental impact reduction, aligning with the group’s broader supply chain sustainability goals.

Executive Outlook

The addition of the Parma site represents a shift in the group's industrial footprint, moving from a single primary hub to a multi-site model. This strategy aims to mitigate operational risk while increasing the capacity required to sustain the growth trajectory evidenced by the 2025 financial results.
