Quorn has expanded its frozen convenience portfolio with the commercial launch of Quorn Hot & Spicy Bites across major UK grocery multiples.
The new product introduction enters the market alongside an extensive packaging redesign across Quorn's core Takeaway lineup. Engineered to capture quick-preparation evening dining and fakeaway occasions, the line extension rolls out to supermarket freezer aisles throughout September, with additional grocery availability scheduled for October.
The dual rollout pairs new product development with updated visual merchandising, aiming to improve brand findability and stand-out in high-traffic frozen retail sets.
Spicy Flavour Product Portfolio
Quorn Hot & Spicy Bites are formulated with a crispy outer coating and a spicy flavour profile, engineered to replicate popular quick-service chicken bites in a meat-free format.
The platform is designed to provide consumers with convenient centre-plate alternatives for at-home takeaway dining routines, bypassing restaurant delivery charges and transit waiting times.

Packaging Refresh across the Takeaway Range
Alongside the product introduction, Quorn is rolling out a brand refresh across its entire Takeaway portfolio.
The updated packaging architecture modernises the range's visual presence in retail freezers through several key design enhancements:
Vibrant Food Illustrations: Features prominent, food-led illustrations to improve appetite appeal and communicate product texture.
Bold Range Branding: Incorporates heightened sub-brand typography to distinguish Takeaway SKUs from everyday meat-free staples.
Brand Recognition: Preserves core Quorn visual assets and colour hierarchy to ensure brand continuity and consumer trust.
The packaging refresh is engineered to drive on-shelf stopping power in the competitive frozen aisle, helping shoppers navigate the category during routine grocery trips.
Retail Distribution and Phased Rollout
Quorn Hot & Spicy Bites and the refreshed Takeaway packaging architecture are deploying across the UK grocery sector through a phased distribution schedule:
Initial Retail Rollout: Physical store distribution commences in September across Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Waitrose & Partners.
Secondary Grocery Wave: Distribution will expand into Morrisons supermarket stores nationwide in October.
The coordinated product rollout provides supermarket retailers with an updated frozen convenience platform designed to capture seasonal evening dining demand and drive category volume across the autumn trading period.
