Domino's Pizza Inc. has announced a cross-brand commercial partnership with video game franchise Minecraft Dungeons II, deploying in-game digital rewards, collectable packaging, and a multi-day game giveaway to support the rollout of its new single-serve menu format, the Domino.
Commencing on 26 October 2026, the promotional campaign links digital gaming culture with quick-service restaurant (QSR) ordering occasions. The collaboration is engineered to accelerate consumer trial for the Domino, a block-shaped, made-for-one pizza sliced into two portions, while incentivising digital loyalty sign-ups through the Domino's Rewards programme.
The campaign highlights the quick-service pizza sector's focus on non-traditional dining occasions, using major entertainment and gaming intellectual property to drive off-peak ordering and digital app conversion.
"At Domino's, we're always looking for new ways to bring customers closer to the brands and experiences they love," said Kate Trumbull, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Domino's.
"When we launched the Domino, we saw an opportunity to think beyond the pizza itself and create experiences that surprise and delight customers. Minecraft Dungeons II is all about teaming up with friends for epic adventures, and the Domino is built for those same moments. With its block shape and customisable toppings, it felt right at home in the game's action-packed universe."
Single-Serve Pizza Innovation and Collectable Packaging
The promotional platform serves as a commercial launchpad for the brand's latest menu format innovation, designed specifically for individual dining and solo snacking dayparts.
To create immediate visual differentiation across delivery and carryout channels, orders of the Domino will be fulfilled in bespoke secondary packaging:
đŚ Six Character-Themed Packaging Boxes: Merchandised in six distinct exterior designs featuring Minecraft Dungeons II characters, including the Corrupted Creeper, Prime Enchanter, Valorie, Zombie, Pig, and standard Creeper, available for a limited operating window while supplies last.
đ Block Architecture: The product format is physically portioned into two distinct blocks, aligning with the geometric, voxel-based visual identity of the Minecraft gaming franchise.
By pairing single-serve portions with collectable packaging, the brand aims to capture trade-up spend among solo diners and younger demographics who typically show lower attachment rates to traditional multi-serve large pizza sharing formats.

Loyalty Programme Mechanics and Digital Incentives
The collaboration is structured around digital customer acquisition, leveraging exclusive in-game content to drive order volumes through proprietary digital channels rather than third-party delivery aggregators.
Domino's Rewards members who purchase the new single-serve pizza online will receive digital promotional codes directly deposited into their member accounts, unlocking one of three exclusive virtual assets within the game:
đŽ Domino's Avatar Skin: Branded digital apparel enabling players to customise their in-game player character.
𦸠Slice Slayer Cape: An exclusive wearable digital accessory for character avatars.
đ§ Domino's Cheesy Cube Pet: A virtual companion character that follows players in gameplay, marking the first co-branded partner pet introduced into the Minecraft Dungeons II ecosystem.
In addition to loyalty rewards, Domino's is executing a mass-participation giveaway between 26 October and 4 November 2026. The company will distribute 2,000 digital download tokens daily, totalling 20,000 standard game downloads valued at $29.99 each, via a dedicated submission portal at dominos.com for customers validating proof of purchase on PC and Xbox platforms.

Gamifying Digital Fulfilment
To maintain consumer engagement throughout the fulfilment cycle, Domino's confirmed it will deploy a themed modification to its proprietary delivery tracking software.
The forthcoming interactive Minecraft Dungeons II-themed Domino's Tracker will replace standard progress screens with custom game-world visualisations, gamifying order tracking across prep, bake, and transit stages.
The integration of gaming assets into digital tracking interfaces illustrates how restaurant operators are transforming standard operational utilities into branded engagement platforms, reinforcing app retention and brand affinity across digital touchpoints.
