Non-alcoholic beer brand BERO, co-founded by actor Tom Holland, has launched a second limited-edition production run of its collaborative beverage cans with Sony Pictures, tied to the feature film Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Rolling out on 8 October 2026, the re-release coincides with the film's commercial debut across digital home-entertainment platforms. Alongside direct-to-consumer digital availability, BERO has secured an exclusive on-premise partnership with sports entertainment operator Topgolf, marking the brand's latest expansion into social and experiential hospitality venues.
The decision to reissue the co-branded line follows strong retail velocity during its initial market debut in July. The first production batch sold out within a fortnight, generating a 121% increase in web traffic across the brand's digital storefront.
"We didn't create BERO to be the beer people reach for when they're opting out. We created it for people who want to be fully in the moment," said John Herman, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of BERO. "The response to the first Spider-Man release reinforced that non-alcoholic beer doesn't need its own lane. It can be part of the biggest movies, sporting events, days out with friends or nights at home, while still feeling premium, relevant and culturally connected."
Formulation and Pack
The collectable exterior packaging houses BERO's core European-style lager formulation:
🍺 Kingston Golden Pils: A crisp, European-style pilsner brewed to deliver a clean, balanced malt profile with a dry, refreshing finish, formulated as a sessionable non-alcoholic table beer.
The collectable cans are decorated with custom character graphics inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero, engineered to drive collectability and secondary gifting during the autumn film release window and Halloween social occasions.
Exclusive Partnership with Topgolf
A central pillar of the commercial reissue is the brand's distribution agreement with Topgolf, which serves as the exclusive on-premise retail partner for the limited-edition cans.
The tie-up introduces the co-branded SKUs into Topgolf's nationwide venue network, placing the non-alcoholic brand in high-volume interactive driving ranges and entertainment lounges. Under the commercial framework, once inventory of the limited-edition Spider-Man cans is exhausted, BERO’s standard Kingston Golden Pils SKU will transition into permanent menu placement across Topgolf locations.
The operational placement reflects BERO’s broader commercial strategy to establish distribution across high-dwell recreational spaces and sports facilities, complementing prior fitness-led activations with boutique fitness operator Barry’s and the BERO Padel Classic.
Entertainment Licensing
The collaboration illustrates the growing adoption of high-profile entertainment intellectual property within the adult non-alcoholic beverage category.
Historically, film merchandise and character-led packaging have been concentrated in children's confectionery, soft drinks, and ambient snacks. By applying major studio IP to premium non-alcoholic brewing, brand owners are activating pop-culture fandom to recruit modern consumers seeking adult alternatives to conventional alcohol during social gatherings and at-home viewing occasions.
Furthermore, integrating entertainment tie-ins directly with leisure destinations such as Topgolf allows brand owners to capture immediate on-premise consumption while establishing brand awareness that feeds back into digital e-commerce channels.
Availability
The limited-edition Spider-Man: Brand New Day cans are commercially available starting 8 October 2026 via BERO's direct-to-consumer storefront at berobrewing.com, alongside food and beverage menus across Topgolf venues nationwide while stocks last.
