Savoury condiment brand Chosen Foods has expanded its liquid condiments portfolio with the national launch of its new Chilli Dipping Sauce.

The product rollout introduces a heat-forward, creamy condiment manufactured using 100 per cent pure avocado oil. Sweetened naturally with pear juice instead of added sugars, the sauce is timed to enter retail distribution ahead of the high-volume summer trading and outdoor dining seasons.

The launch comes amid a period of active commercial growth for the brand, which has recorded a 45 per cent increase in its overall condiment sales over the past 12 months. By broadening its avocado-oil-based portfolio, the manufacturer aims to capture additional market share within the rapidly expanding seed-oil-free and clean-label grocery departments.

Clean Label Ingredients and Product Specifications

To meet the nutritional standards expected by health-conscious consumer demographics, the new sauce is formulated without traditional seed oils, artificial ingredients, or added sugars.

The primary technical and physical specifications of the Chilli Dipping Sauce include:

  • 🥑 Pure Avocado Oil Base – Manufactured using 100 per cent pure avocado oil, entirely free from soybean and canola oils.

  • 🍐 Natural Sweetening – Utilises pear juice as a natural sweetening agent to replace added sugars, appealing to shoppers managing glucose or calorie intake.

  • 🌶️ Spicy Profile – Blends chilli pepper with savoury garlic to deliver a bold, heat-forward condiment profile.

  • 📋 Clean Label Standards – Formulated without artificial flavours, synthetic colours, or chemical preservatives to meet natural-channel retail requirements.

The portioned 9 fl. oz. (approximately 266ml) bottles carry a suggested retail price (SRP) of $5.98. The product is engineered to serve as a versatile accompaniment for grilled meats, wings, and handhelds, allowing retailers to merchandise the line across both the speciality condiment aisle and fresh meat departments to encourage cross-category basket growth.

The decision to expand the brand's sauce portfolio is supported by shifting purchasing patterns in the global condiment market, where consumer demand for transparent ingredient decks and alternative oils continues to rise.

Historically, conventional dipping sauces have relied on cheaper, highly processed seed oils like soybean or canola, alongside high-fructose corn syrup or cane sugar for sweetness. By replacing these standard components with functional fats and fruit-derived sweetening systems, Chosen Foods aims to differentiate its portfolio from legacy brands on the shelf.

According to Laleh Modarres, Senior Brand Manager at Chosen Foods, the introduction of the new variant is designed to address a direct consumer request for clean-label, heat-forward flavours. She noted that the brand's commercial momentum reflects a broader retail transition toward products that combine premium taste profiles with wholesome, transparent ingredient bases.

As a leading brand in the US avocado oil and avocado-oil-based mayonnaise categories, Chosen Foods continues to scale its manufacturing and processing capabilities. The nationwide rollout of the Chilli Dipping Sauce provides retail partners with a high-margin, differentiated option to capture incremental sales during the peak warm-weather trading window.
