Cann has announced the launch of "0MG", its first-ever zero-THC beverage range, marking a significant portfolio expansion aimed at reaching a nationwide audience and securing traditional retail placement.
The new product line is formulated with a functional blend of magnesium, electrolytes, L-theanine, and passion flower. By removing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) from this specific range, the brand is expanding its portfolio beyond regulated dispensary channels to target broader retail and online distribution.
Functional Ingredient Profile and Flavours
The 0MG range utilises the brand's established taste profiles while incorporating specific functional ingredients designed to appeal to the mindful drinking market. The formulation includes passion flower, magnesium, electrolytes for hydration, and L-theanine.
The initial launch features two of the brand's signature flavour combinations:
🍊 Blood Orange Cardamom: A blend of citrus and sweet spices made with blood orange juice.
🍋 Lemon Lavender: A herbal citrus combination sweetened with agave.
The functional drinks are designed to offer an alternative beverage option for daily consumption occasions, serving consumers who choose to drink beverages with or without THC.
The launch of the zero-THC line represents a direct effort to enter traditional retail channels where cannabis-infused products are restricted. By introducing a non-THC alternative, the brand can expand its physical footprint into mainstream grocery stores, speciality retail networks, and online direct-to-consumer delivery nationwide.
Jake Bullock, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Cann, stated that debuting a zero-THC beverage allows the brand to reach consumers in traditional shopping environments. Bullock noted that the strategy expands retail distribution and increases brand awareness whilst remaining aligned with how consumers choose to drink.
Availability
The 0MG collection is scheduled to launch online via the brand's direct-to-consumer website on 9 July 2026.
Following the digital rollout, physical retail distribution across national brick-and-mortar stockists is scheduled to begin in August 2026.
