Braun Household has announced the commercial launch of the OptiBrew line, a next-generation collection of drip coffee makers engineered to expand home beverage preparation across hot and cold formats.
The product introduction features two models: the core OptiBrew and the advanced OptiBrew Pro. Both units are designed to brew single servings without pods up to a full 12-cup glass carafe, utilising ground coffee within a compact 6.75-inch-wide footprint.
The launch introduces rapid cold brew processing and integrated milk frothing capabilities to the brand's countertop hardware portfolio across the United States and Canada.
Multi-Serve Brewing Capabilities
At the core of the OptiBrew platform is Braun's ExactBrew™ Technology, an automated brewing system engineered to calibrate water temperature and flow time to optimise flavour extraction across different batch volumes.
The platform provides users with seven brew size options, spanning an 8-ounce single cup to a full 12-cup carafe. Both machines are capable of brewing a full 12-cup pot in under eight minutes.
The standard OptiBrew unit incorporates four distinct brew styles:

☕ Bold: Extends brew contact time for a stronger, more concentrated cup profile.

Eliza Woolston Sheffield, President of De'Longhi North America, stated that while daily coffee routines have diversified, traditional drip machines have not consistently adapted. Sheffield noted that the OptiBrew platform was developed to provide greater preparation choice and convenience within everyday routines without introducing operational complexity or excessive countertop footprints.
OptiBrew Pro Features and Integrated Milk Frothing
For expanded café-style preparation, the OptiBrew Pro model incorporates additional mechanical and extraction capabilities.
The Pro version introduces a fifth brew style, designated as the "Coffee Shot," which produces a concentrated coffee base designed for latte- and cappuccino-style drink builds.
Additionally, the OptiBrew Pro features a built-in whisk frother capable of texturing both hot and cold dairy milk and plant-based alternatives into foam. This integrated attachment allows users to prepare frothed beverages directly on the countertop without requiring auxiliary appliances.
Both the OptiBrew and OptiBrew Pro incorporate a 24-hour programmable digital timer alongside an automated warming plate function that maintains carafe temperature for up to four hours post-brew.
