Natural refrigerated dough brand Sweet Loren’s has announced its entry into the breakfast sector, introducing a new portfolio of ready-to-bake oatmeal bars and scones alongside a brand-wide packaging redesign.
The new product lines represent a commercial expansion for the company, transitioning its established dough-based manufacturing model from desserts into morning and daytime eating occasions.
The product rollout is currently underway across the United States, entering physical retail channels nationwide at Target, Wegmans, and Harris Teeter.
Portfolio and Packaging Redesign
The expansion into the morning category aligns with changing consumer eating patterns, as modern household routines become increasingly fluid and transition toward all-day snacking.
To support the product launch and establish a unified brand presence in the refrigerated aisle, Sweet Loren's has implemented a comprehensive packaging refresh across its entire product lineup.
The packaging updates include several key functional and visual elements:
Logo Modernisation: An updated corporate logo designed to strengthen brand authority on the shelf.
Simplified Claims: Reorganised packaging panels that prioritise and highlight key nutritional certifications and allergen statements.
Unified Brand Block: Utilisation of the brand's signature magenta colourway to create a cohesive, easily identifiable brand block across the refrigerated section.
Navigational Colour Bands: The integration of distinct colour bands to help consumers identify different product segments, such as desserts, breakfast, and snacks.
Breakfast Formulations and Nutritional Metrics
To align with modern dietary requirements and clean-label purchasing criteria, the ready-to-bake breakfast items are manufactured without gluten or dairy, and are certified free from the top nine food allergens. The products are designed to bake in approximately 15 minutes, offering consumers a convenient hot breakfast option.
The new breakfast range comprises two distinct formats:
Ready-to-Bake Oatmeal Bars
The oatmeal-based bars are formulated to deliver six grams of protein and three to four grams of dietary fibre per serving. The initial lineup is sold in multi-serve packages and includes three flavour profiles:

🍎 Apple Cinnamon – A warm, spiced oat formulation featuring apple and cinnamon notes.
🍁 Maple Brown Sugar – A traditional, sweet breakfast profile utilising maple and brown sugar.
Ready-to-Bake Scones
The bakery-style scones are packaged in portioned formats, allowing consumers to bake all eight portions at once or individually. The initial scone lineup comprises two distinct flavours:
🍫 Chocolate Chunk – A tender scone base embedded with sweet chocolate chunks.
🍂 Cinnamon Brown Sugar – A warm, aromatic scone seasoned with cinnamon and brown sugar.
Retail Distribution
In addition to its breakfast portfolio, Sweet Loren's is expanding its reach in the convenient baking segment with the introduction of ready-to-bake puff pastry Sticks.
The pull-apart dough sticks are designed to serve as versatile sweet or savoury snacks, packaged with separate custom toppings including cinnamon sugar or garlic herb.
Furthermore, the brand is expanding its core dessert range with the launch of a new Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough, which has secured an exclusive retail listing at Target.
The brand's total distribution network has grown to encompass more than 30,000 retail locations across the United States. By diversifying its portfolio across multiple dayparts, the manufacturer aims to help grocery partners drive average basket sizes and capture incremental sales within the highly resilient refrigerated dough category.
