Protein Pints, an ice cream brand currently available in over 15,000 retail locations, has announced its entry into the frozen novelty category with the launch of "Protein Pops." This development marks the brand's first major format expansion since its retail inception two years ago.
The move follows trends in the frozen dessert sector where individually portioned, on-the-go treats continue to outpace the broader market. Industry projections indicate that the frozen novelty category is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of nearly 9% through 2035, driven by shifting consumer preferences for convenience-based indulgence.

Distribution and Availability
Protein Pops are currently available for purchase directly via the company’s website. The retail rollout is scheduled to commence at Sprouts Farmers Market stores nationwide on 29 June, followed by Harris Teeter in late July, with additional retail partnerships planned for later this year.
"We wanted to create a format that complements the busy lives of our consumers while still delivering the protein and ingredient standards they expect," said Paul Reiss, co-founder and CEO of Protein Pints. "Pops offer the attributes of our pint range in a convenient grab-and-go format."
