Popcorn Kitchen has secured a listing with British Airways to supply its Salted Caramel popcorn across the airline's long-haul network.

Under the agreement, which commenced rollout in September 2026, the brand's core sweet-and-savoury SKU is served to passengers travelling in First and Business Class cabins.

The commercial contract follows a three-year supplier onboarding and trial process that incorporated trade show engagements, sensory taste panels, and preliminary sampling trials across British Airways first-class airport lounges.

The listing aligns with ongoing efforts across premium international carriers to upgrade onboard food and beverage programmes through partnerships with independent, specialty snack producers.

Popcorn Kitchen positions its range around small-batch production and whole-ingredient inclusions, targeting consumer demand for gourmet confectionery in portion-controlled, single-serve packaging formats suited for travel retail and hospitality catering environments.

"British Airways understands better than most that they not only need immersive snacks with worldwide appeal, but brands that reflect their best-in-class status," said Louise Webb, owner of Popcorn Kitchen.

"Today, light-to-bite, crunchy popcorn comes in every imaginable flavour, but only a handful stick rigidly to their best-in-class ingredient commitments. From our foodie perspective, ties with the nation's carrier helps explain the business's step-change growth over the last 15 to 18 months."

The carrier listing marks an expansion of Popcorn Kitchen's distribution within the travel sector, complementing existing presences in specialty retail, delis, garden centres, and independent hospitality venues.

The contract provides substantial brand visibility across international long-haul passenger routes while supporting the UK producer's commercial volume growth over the coming year.
