The collaboration debuts with the launch of HYDRATION+ Immunity, a line of powdered hydration mixes designed to translate iconic bubble tea flavour profiles into a wellness-focused format.
Launching to coincide with the Lunar New Year, the product line represents a significant brand extension for Kung Fu Tea. By licensing its flavour IP (Intellectual Property) to a nutraceutical partner, the chain is moving beyond its brick-and-mortar footprint to capture share in the "better-for-you" home hydration market.
Flavour Meets Function
The core proposition of the partnership is the "health-ification" of traditional bubble tea flavours. The new line reimagines three of Kung Fu Tea’s best-selling profiles—Peach Oolong, Sunshine Pineapple Tea, and Passionfruit Green Tea—as caffeine-free, zero-sugar hydration supplements.
This formulation strategy directly addresses the primary barrier to frequent bubble tea consumption: high sugar and calorie content. By offering a functional alternative with only 10 calories per serving, the partners aim to increase consumption frequency and reach health-conscious demographics.
