Krispy Kreme UK has expanded its domestic e-commerce grocery footprint by securing a nationwide retail listing on pureplay online supermarket Ocado.
The commercial rollout introduces the brand's signature bakery dozens and curated sharing multipacks to Ocado's digital shelves. The listing enables consumers to add pre-packaged bakery selections directly to their scheduled online grocery orders, expanding Krispy Kreme's reach beyond its traditional high-street shops and in-store supermarket bakery cabinets.
The move comes as ambient and fresh bakery brand owners increasingly leverage automated online grocery networks to capture planned household treats and social entertaining purchases.
