Krispy Kreme UK has announced a limited-edition product collaboration with Mondelez International-owned Cadbury to introduce a co-branded doughnut variant across its retail network.
The product introduction is timed to coincide with World Chocolate Day on 7 July 2026. Designed as a short-term promotional driver, the item will remain on sale for one week only, concluding on 12 July 2026. The partnership represents a structured effort by both brands to leverage shared brand equity and capture impulse purchases through a highly restricted availability window.
Product Formulation
The new offering combines the structural foundation of Krispy Kreme's core portfolio with Cadbury's established chocolate branding to appeal to mainstream confectionery consumers.
The product features the following specifications:
🍩 Double Chocolate Glazed with Cadbury Dairy Milk: The brand's signature Original Glazed doughnut reformatted with a rich chocolate glaze formulation incorporating Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate.
To maximise market penetration during the brief sales window, the co-branded product is being distributed simultaneously across multiple physical and digital channels. In addition to standalone Krispy Kreme retail locations, the product has secured placement within dedicated supermarket cabinets at major UK grocery partners, alongside availability via the brand's direct-to-consumer online delivery platform.
Retail Activation
To support the physical launch and generate immediate consumer awareness, Krispy Kreme executed a targeted experiential retail event at its flagship location in central London.
The activation took place on 7 July 2026 at the Oxford Street shop, serving as the central hub for the partnership's promotional rollout. By focusing marketing resources on a high-footfall flagship site on the day of the launch, the brand aims to drive localised consumer engagement and support broader digital marketing campaigns across the UK.
