North American frozen seafood brand Just Shrimp has unveiled a multi-channel marketing campaign centred on "Shrimpmas", a consumer food observance scheduled for 25 October.
Timed to align with National Seafood Month in October, the promotional initiative lands two months ahead of the traditional Christmas trading period. The campaign is engineered to accelerate retail brand discovery, stimulate off-season holiday eating occasions, and support the brand's physical grocery footprint across regional supermarket banner Harris Teeter.
"This is our first National Seafood Month, and we're proud to celebrate alongside the rest of the seafood category," said Lee Edmondson, founder of Just Shrimp. "We decided to go all-in with a campaign that feels unmistakably Just Shrimp to build brand awareness and support our growing presence at Harris Teeter."
Campaign Architecture and Digital Marketing
The promotional initiative commenced with an official commercial holiday designation via the consumer database National Today, supported by the launch of a dedicated campaign microsite, JustShrimpmas.com, on 1 October.
Throughout October, the brand is running an integrated digital marketing programme across TikTok and Instagram, partnering with social media creators to develop seasonal seafood content and recipe inspiration. To incentivise consumer participation and drive physical retail footfall, the social activations incorporate digital giveaways offering shoppers opportunities to win Harris Teeter gift cards.
By establishing a branded food celebration weeks ahead of peak fourth-quarter entertaining, the company aims to broaden consumer perception of frozen shellfish, repositioning party appetisers and finger foods earlier in the autumn retail calendar.
Retail Activation and Harris Teeter In-Store Promotion
A central component of the commercial strategy is an off-shelf merchandising and pricing push across the supermarket channel.
Just Shrimp has secured secondary retail placement across nearly 250 Harris Teeter locations throughout the southeastern United States. The in-store push is anchored by a two-week promotional discounting structure:
Promotional Window: 14 October through 27 October 2026.
Offer Mechanics: Buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) promotion on Just Shrimp Nuggets, providing consumers with an on-shelf saving of $6.00 across qualifying purchases.
Merchandising Footprint: Prominent secondary display placement in participating supermarket freezer cabinets to drive impulse trial during high-traffic shopping periods.
The temporary price promotion and secondary fixture presence are structured to encourage category trial and volume purchases among price-conscious shoppers exploring convenient meal and appetiser formats.

Clean-Label Sourcing
The promotional push centres on the brand's core SKU, Just Shrimp Nuggets, which are merchandised in the value-added frozen seafood fixture.
Formulated to meet clean-label ingredient standards, the breaded seafood items are produced without artificial flavours, synthetic colours, chemical preservatives, or binders. The product is manufactured using whole shrimp sourced exclusively from coastal waters in North America.
By combining domestic coastal sourcing claims with clean-deck formulation standards, Just Shrimp aims to address consumer scrutiny surrounding ingredient provenance and artificial additives in frozen prepared seafood, leveraging high-impact promotional merchandising to gain market share in regional retail grocery.
