Huel has announced the launch of two new additions to its Daily Greens Functional Soda range, which are currently being rolled out in the US market. The launch includes a reformulation intended to modify the sensory profile of the beverage.
The new variants include the following options:
🍓 Strawberry Lemon
🍊 Pink Grapefruit
The update to the recipe, which includes a refreshed packaging design, currently applies only to these two specific variants. The existing Daily Greens ready-to-drink flavours remain unchanged in terms of formula and packaging.
Recipe and Formula Adjustments
The development of the new flavours involved adjustments to the base formula to improve the consumer experience. Technical updates to the recipe include a reduction in juice, sodium, and carbohydrate content, alongside a reordering of the micronutrient blend.
The changes are designed to produce a cleaner taste profile, achieving a better balance between sweetness and acidity. The sensory profile has also been adjusted to reduce the earthy notes previously associated with the product, resulting in a more prominent fruit-forward aroma.

Despite the formula adjustments, the product maintains its core nutritional credentials. Each serving contains the following:
