Clio Snacks, a manufacturer specialising in refrigerated, grab-and-go Greek yogurt bars, has announced the launch of its newest product range, Clio Drizzled Greek Yogurt Bars. The launch is designed to capture market share within the refrigerated dairy aisle by targeting the children's snacking segment.
The product introduction arrives during a period of scale for the company. Clio is currently projected to reach USD 120 million in revenue and produce more than 180 million bars this year, whilst expanding its overall retail footprint to approximately 60,000 locations across the United States.
Financial Growth and Manufacturing Scale
The brand’s expansion is supported by its 86,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located in Piscataway, New Jersey. The facility houses the production lines required to support the brand's growing national distribution network.
The launch of the kid-focused line aims to address a perceived gap in the refrigerated snacking aisle, offering functional nutritional values alongside formats and flavour profiles engineered for younger demographics.
John McGuckin, Chief Executive Officer of Clio Snacks, stated that parents often navigate a children's food aisle filled with compromises between nutrition and consumer appeal. McGuckin noted that the company identified a distinct white space in the refrigerated category for products that balance nutritional value with an engaging format, allowing the brand to expand its consumer base.
Product Formulation and Nutrient Profile
The new product line is manufactured without artificial flavours or colours, contains no high fructose corn syrup, and is certified gluten-free. From a nutritional standpoint, each bar delivers five grams of protein, calcium, vitamin D, and active probiotics.
The initial rollout features three distinct flavour profiles:
🍓 Strawberry Dream: A classic strawberry-flavoured Greek yoghurt base finished with a chocolatey drizzle.
🍬 Raspberry Cotton Candy: A sweet, berry-infused profile designed to mimic traditional cotton candy.
🍌 Strawberry Banana Milkshake: A smooth fruit-blend formulation.
Retail Distribution and Market Availability
The product line began rolling out to retail locations across the United States in early July.
The range is packaged in five-count multi-packs and is available through the brand's direct-to-consumer website, alongside physical placement at national grocery and club retailers. Key stockists for the launch include Target, Sam’s Club, Walmart, Whole Foods Market, and Stop & Shop.
