Danone USA brand Danimals has announced the commercial addition of a Peach Smoothie variant to its kids' yoghurt lineup, entering retail channels ahead of the back-to-school trading period.
The product rollout follows a brand-wide recipe improvement across Danimals' bottled smoothies and low-fat yoghurt pouches. The updated recipe position delivers 25 per cent less total sugar compared to the previous formulation, whilst positioning the portfolio as the sole range within the US kids' yoghurt category to provide a source of calcium, vitamin D, and dietary fibre per serving.
The launch forms part of Danone USA's ongoing product development strategy to update core children's dairy lines with reduced sugar levels and clean-label ingredient attributes.
Reformulation and Nutrition
The updated Danimals product formulation incorporates key dietary nutrients while eliminating artificial ingredients and high-fructose corn syrup across the portfolio.

The new peach profile joins Danimals' established fruit and sweet smoothie varieties, available in single-flavour packs and dual-flavour variety formats:

🍌 Strawberry Banana: A dual-fruit smoothie option pairing strawberry and banana profiles.
🫐 Mixed Berry: A dark berry blend incorporating multi-fruit flavour notes.
🫐 Raspberry: A tart berry flavour option.
🍬 Cotton Candy: A confectionery-inspired flavour profile for children's snacking dayparts.
The product line is also deploying in a multi-count variety pack pairing Peach and Strawberry Smoothies in a single retail carton.
