High-street coffeehouse chain Caffè Nero has announced a strategic partnership with sports nutrition brand Myprotein, introducing a new range of high-protein iced beverages across its UK estate.

Rolling out to more than 600 Caffè Nero stores nationwide, the collaboration brings functional sports nutrition directly into the high-street coffee market. The initial menu introduction features two specialised protein-boosted iced beverages, combining the coffee brand's roasting expertise and ceremonial-grade matcha with Myprotein's signature protein powders.

The joint initiative captures growing consumer demand for on-the-go functional beverages, bridging the gap between speciality coffeehouse culture and active lifestyle nutrition.

"These drinks reflect our commitment to innovation and to delivering premium drinks to customers," said a Caffè Nero spokesperson. "They combine our speciality, award-winning coffee and our ceremonial-grade matcha with the expertise of Myprotein."

High Protein Beverage Lineup

The initial menu rollout introduces two distinct protein-fortified iced formulations designed to support daily fitness routines and active consumer lifestyles:

🍵 Iced Vanilla Protein Matcha Latte: Blends ceremonial-grade matcha green tea with skimmed milk, sugar-free vanilla, and Myprotein's functional protein formulation, delivering a vibrant, nutrient-dense iced green tea profile.

☕ Iced Vanilla Protein Latte: Combines Caffè Nero's signature Classico coffee blend with skimmed milk, sugar-free vanilla syrup, and Myprotein's signature protein powder to provide an elevated, high-protein coffee option.

High-Street Retail

The collaboration marks Myprotein's first major high-street beverage partnership within the UK hospitality sector, following successful direct-to-consumer and retail grocery product expansions.

By integrating sports nutrition into daily coffeehouse routines, the partnership provides consumers with an accessible way to consume protein without relying on traditional powdered shakes or pre-packaged fitness beverages.

Following the initial October introduction, Caffè Nero and Myprotein plan to expand the collaborative menu with additional seasonal recipes scheduled to launch in January.
