Aldi UK has unveiled an initial preview of its 2026 Christmas food and beverage collection, anchoring its seasonal proposition around its premium private-label tier, Specially Selected.
The festive range spans fresh poultry and butcher centrepieces, value-added party foods, plant-based alternatives, confectionery, and ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails. The phased commercial rollout will commence in October and extend through late December, designed to capture customer spend across early party-planning occasions and core holiday meal shopping.
The announcement follows the retailer's recognition as Christmas Retailer of the Year at the Quality Food Awards, positioning the discounter's premium tier to compete against mainstream supermarket rivals during the competitive fourth-quarter golden quarter.
"Shoppers can expect our usual great value and high-quality products this Christmas, with a combination of much-loved festive classics alongside exciting new launches," said Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK. "This is just a taste of what's to come, so shoppers should keep an eye out for more."

By sequencing the launch schedule, initiating with ambient wines and frozen seafood in October, advancing to party foods and gifting in November, and concluding with fresh poultry and chilled centrepieces the week prior to Christmas Day, the discounter aims to maximise repeat store footfall and capture incremental seasonal basket spend throughout the trading window.
