Flora Food Group’s plant-based cheese brand Violife has unveiled a comprehensive new marketing and experiential campaign, "Undairy the Craving," designed to accelerate consumer trial and reposition dairy-free cheese as a premium lifestyle choice.
Rather than relying on traditional price promotions, the digital and physical activation uses a direct consumer rebate programme, artificial intelligence integration, culinary mentorship, and high-profile chef collaborations. The campaign aims to lower the barrier to entry for shoppers hesitant to sample plant-based alternatives by targeting classic, cheese-heavy eating occasions.
According to Olga Osminkina-Jones, Group Chief Marketing Officer at Flora Food Group, the campaign represents a long-term commercial platform designed to integrate dairy-free options into mainstream food culture. She noted that the initiative focuses on helping consumers recreate the dishes they enjoy without requiring nutritional or sensory compromises, driving organic category volume rather than purchasing temporary customer trial.

Core Activations and Digital Tools
The summer campaign is built around several integrated digital and physical pillars designed to incentivise brand switching and simplify home food preparation:
💳 Craving Credits – A nationwide consumer rebate programme running throughout June 2026. Under the initiative, shoppers can upload any purchase receipt for dairy-based cheese to the campaign's dedicated website to receive a digital gift card valued up to $5.99, which can be redeemed for any Violife product at retail.
💻 Recipe Generator – A digital artificial intelligence tool that allows users to input conventional recipes and receive instant, step-by-step instructions on how to prepare dairy-free versions.
🍳 The Undairy Collective – A partnership with a group of professional US-based chefs—including Akhtar Nawab, Bryan Ford, Danielle Duran Zecca, Jackie Carnesi, Jenner Tomaska, Marc Forgione, and Yara Herrera—who will execute menu takeovers, share original recipes, and lead experiential marketing events.
📱 Undairy the Dish – A social-first video series distributed across Instagram and TikTok, highlighting behind-the-scenes restaurant preparation, chef perspectives, and real-time tutorials using the brand's product range.
🎓 The Undairy Grant – A sponsorship and joint funding collaboration with the Culinary Careers Program (C-CAP) to support emerging chefs who are incorporating plant-based techniques into modern culinary education.
Ingredient Standards and Global Retail Distribution
The interactive campaign is designed to support the brand's extensive retail footprint. Violife's product portfolio is manufactured to be completely dairy-free and free from the nine major food allergens, including lactose, gluten, GMOs, nuts, and soy.
To support the projected volume growth from the rebate campaign, the brand maintains national distribution across major US grocery, mass, and natural channels, including Whole Foods Market, Walmart, Target, and Kroger.
Violife's parent company, Flora Food Group, operates as a global developer of plant-based culinary essentials, supplying retail and professional foodservice clients across more than 100 countries. Managing a diverse portfolio that includes brands such as Flora, Becel, BlueBand, Country Crock, and Rama, the group continues to focus its product development on improving the sustainability and nutritional profile of everyday cooking ingredients.
