Fast-casual restaurant brand Sweetgreen has announced its entry into the Tennessee market with the upcoming launch of its first Nashville location. Situated at 341 11th Avenue South in the Gulch neighbourhood, the restaurant is scheduled to begin daily operations on 30 June 2026.
This opening represents a significant step in the brand’s national expansion strategy, as it adds a new geographic territory to its existing portfolio of more than 285 locations across the United States.
Facility and Operational Standards
The new Nashville site occupies a 2,755-square-foot retail footprint and will operate seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The location will integrate the brand's standard service model, offering in-restaurant dining alongside digital-first ordering options.
The site is designed to support the brand's full menu, including its signature items and seasonal launches. The operational infrastructure includes:
Menu Offerings – A wide selection of salads, warm grain bowls, protein-forward plates, wraps, and side items.
Digital Integration – Full support for online ordering and the brand's proprietary mobile application, which integrates with the SG Rewards loyalty programme.
Loyalty Infrastructure – A digital rewards system allowing members to earn points on eligible spend, providing data-driven insights into regional purchasing behaviours.
Menu and Ingredient Transparency
Sweetgreen’s menu strategy relies on seasonal rotation and high-quality, traceable sourcing. The Nashville location will launch with the brand's current summer menu, featuring both core items and seasonal additions:
Signature Bowls – The Harvest Bowl and Crispy Rice Bowl.
Summer Menu Additions – Tomato Panzanella, Picnic Bowl, and Summer Market Bowl.
Protein-Forward Offerings – Caramelised Garlic Steak and Miso Glazed Salmon.
The retail experience incorporates the brand’s "source board" model, which identifies the specific farmers and growers responsible for the ingredients used in the restaurant. This transparency-led operational model is a key component of the brand's farm-to-fork approach, designed to maintain alignment with consumer demand for ethical sourcing and supply chain visibility.
Retail Growth
The choice of Nashville as a new retail hub reflects the brand's focus on high-traffic, urbanised food and beverage markets. The company’s development team targets neighbourhoods that support both local residency and active lifestyle demographics.
Ahead of the official opening, the brand will host community-focused preview events on 26 and 27 June to facilitate engagement with local stakeholders and potential high-frequency customers.
As Sweetgreen continues to scale its national footprint, the Nashville entry provides the operator with a key operational base in the Southeastern United States, allowing the business to test market-specific consumer trends and operational logistics in a high-growth urban market.
