Sun-Maid Growers of California has launched Charcuterie Pairings, a new packaged range aimed at the entertaining and snacking segments.
The farmer-owned cooperative, established more than a century ago, developed the four-SKU line to complement meat and cheese platters as well as standalone snacking occasions, combining dried fruits with yoghurt-coated raisins.
The line is packaged in 4.5-ounce portioned pouches containing combinations of dried fruits, berries, banana chips, and yoghurt-covered raisins.
To encourage cross-aisle basket building, Sun-Maid has incorporated curated serving suggestions directly onto the back of each pack. These guides prompt consumers to pair specific pouch contents with selections from specialty cheese counters, deli meats, and cracker displays.
The product line is designed to tap into sustained retail interest in assembled charcuterie boards and home entertaining formats, where packaged accompaniments serve as high-margin additions alongside core deli and produce offerings.
Four Curated Flavour Assortments
The Charcuterie Pairings portfolio comprises four flavour and texture combinations:
🫐 Dried Apricots, Blueberries, and Cranberries: A blend of tart and sweet dried fruits formulated to pair with savoury hard cheeses and cured meats.
🍦 Dried Apricots, Dried Blueberries, and Vanilla Yoghurt Covered Raisins: A combination offering creamy vanilla notes alongside chewy fruit profiles for soft cheese pairings.
🍌 Dried Cherries, Banana Chips, and Chocolate Yoghurt Covered Raisins: A crunchy and sweet mix designed to contrast against sharp cheddars and salty charcuterie items.
🍫 Dried Cranberries, Dried Cherries, and Chocolate Yoghurt Covered Raisins: A berry and cocoa blend tailored for rich blue cheeses and assorted nuts.
Retail Rollout and Distribution
Sun-Maid has initiated distribution for the Charcuterie Pairings range across the United States ahead of the peak autumn and winter holiday entertaining periods.
The products are currently entering national retail networks, including selected Walmart and Target stores, alongside wider supermarket and grocery chains.
