Rancher's Premium Smokehouse has expanded its retail portfolio with the launch of two fully cooked barbecue entrées across Kroger stores in Texas.
Available from 17 August 2026, the introduction of Brisket Burnt Ends and Pork Burnt Ends marks the brand's expansion beyond its core smoked sausage lineup into the convenient heat-and-eat barbecue category.
Heat and Eat Barbecue Lineup
The new fully cooked entrées are designed to provide restaurant-style meal options in convenient home preparation formats. The product line is positioned for weeknight meal occasions and back-to-school family routines, requiring only minutes to heat via microwave, oven, or boiling water.
The two newly introduced SKU variations entering the refrigerated meat aisle include:
🥩 Brisket Burnt Ends: Fully cooked, slow-smoked beef brisket burnt ends formatted for rapid heating across main meal, slider, and sandwich applications.
🐖 Pork Burnt Ends: Slow-smoked tender pork burnt ends packaged in a ready-to-heat format for domestic dining occasions.
Retail Expansion Across Kroger Texas
The expansion builds upon Rancher's Premium Smokehouse's existing commercial relationship with Kroger Texas. Following the initial rollout of its signature smoked sausage line in 2024, the addition of the two burnt end options increases the brand's total footprint to eight products across the retailer's regional store network.
Lee Lyles, Executive Vice President of Rancher's Premium Smokehouse, stated that the product development strategy focuses on making authentic barbecue accessible to retail consumers without compromising traditional smoking standards or product quality.
