Nestlé Confectionery has announced a cross-brand seasonal partnership between Quality Street and board game franchise Monopoly, introducing a nationwide on-pack promotional campaign ahead of the 2026 Christmas trading window.

The collaboration gives the iconic octagonal Quality Street sharing tub a Monopoly-themed visual overhaul across United Kingdom retail. Each promotional pack includes a physical Chance Card providing consumers with opportunities to win instant cash sums and branded physical prizes, headlined by an on-pack jackpot of £20,580, matching the total cash value found in a standard Monopoly bank.

The partnership brings together two heritage brands with high household penetration, combining ambient sharing confectionery with tabletop entertainment to drive volume sales across supermarket aisles during the fourth-quarter golden quarter.

"Quality Street has been bringing people together at Christmas for generations, and we're always looking for new ways to add a little extra magic to those special moments," said Beth Lucas, Marketing Director for Nestlé Confectionery UK & Ireland.

"Partnering with Monopoly, another iconic part of family celebrations, felt like a natural fit. We love that the bespoke gameboard has even been designed with space in the centre for a tub of Quality Street, making it the perfect companion for festive games nights this Christmas."

Gameboard and Play

A central asset of the marketing campaign is the production of 5,000 bespoke physical gameboards titled MONOPOLY: Quality Street Edition:

🎲 Octagonal Board Design: Built in a bespoke octagonal layout mimicking the geometry of Quality Street's classic tins and tubs, engineered with a dedicated recess in the centre to hold a confectionery tub during gameplay.

🍬 Branded Property Locations: Replaces standard street addresses with confectionery-inspired squares, including Caramel Swirl Way and Green Triangle Gardens.

🚂 Regional Railway Integration: Reconfigures the four traditional railway stations into locations tied to Quality Street’s British manufacturing history, notably spotlighting the town of Halifax in West Yorkshire, where the brand has been produced continuously since 1936.

Promotional Mechanics and Prizes

The retail promotion deploys an instant-win mechanic intended to stimulate impulse conversion and basket building across multi-buy grocery displays:

Promotional Chance Cards: Inserted directly into every promotional tub, featuring entry credentials for participants to claim rewards.

Top Financial Jackpot: A single headline prize of £20,580, calibrated to mirror the full cash reserves of the board game.

Tiered Cash Distribution: Thousands of intermediary secondary cash payouts distributed in denominations ranging from £5 to £500.

Limited-Edition Merchandise: 5,000 exclusive MONOPOLY: Quality Street Edition games allocated across winning promotional cards.

The promotional Quality Street Monopoly tubs are rolling out across UK supermarket multiples, convenience store networks, and wholesale channels from 21 October 2026 throughout the festive trading season while promotional stocks last.
