Like Air®, the family-owned, better-for-you snack company, has announced its second strategic flavour collaboration of the year: Spicy Dill Pickle Puffcorn. The new limited-edition SKU was developed in partnership with Freestyle Snacks, an emerging brand known for repositioning olives and pickles as premium, on-the-go savoury snacks.
The launch capitalises on the continued consumer appetite for complex, briny, and spicy flavour profiles in the salty snack aisle. By building upon Like Air’s existing, highly popular dill pickle base and incorporating the "fiery kick" inspired by Freestyle’s 2025 snacking pickle line, the brands are targeting flavour-seeking consumers who also prioritise clean-label attributes.
Formulation and Cross-Brand Synergy
The partnership represents a strong strategic alignment between two companies with remarkably similar corporate trajectories. Both Like Air and Freestyle Snacks are female-founded businesses that launched during the pandemic to address specific gaps in the snacking category, and both subsequently gained national exposure as Shark Tank alumni.

Freestyle Snacks shares our belief that snacks should be exciting and flavorful while still being made with simple ingredients. With Spicy Dill Pickle Puffcorn, we wanted to create a vibrant snack people can enjoy with zero guilt."
Consistent with Like Air's core product architecture, the new puffcorn is gluten-free, allergen-friendly, and contains just 80 calories per bag.

DTC and E-Commerce Merchandising
Rather than an immediate mass retail rollout, the brands are executing a targeted Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) drop, leveraging their digital communities via Like Air's website and its heavily trafficked TikTok Shop.
The launch features two strategic bundle packs designed to cross-pollinate their respective customer bases:
