Ingredients manufacturer Jungbunzlauer has appointed Marcus von Twistern as Executive Vice President (EVP) Operations and a member of its Executive Committee, effective 1 August 2026.
In his new role, von Twistern assumes responsibility for the company's global operations organisation, overseeing manufacturing strategy, operational performance, and facility management across Jungbunzlauer's production sites in Europe and North America.
Executive Background and Operational Experience
Von Twistern brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience across manufacturing, operations, and large-scale industrial investment projects.
Throughout his career, he has directed operational strategies across multiple international territories, including Germany, China, Italy, and the United States.
Prior to joining Jungbunzlauer, von Twistern served as Vice President Operations at paper and forest products group UPM. He also previously held several senior executive roles at speciality chemicals producer Evonik Industries, where he managed production governance, site performance, and operational excellence across global manufacturing hubs.
The executive appointment aligns with Jungbunzlauer's ongoing efforts to enhance supply chain resilience, maintain product consistency, and scale manufacturing capacity across its international operating footprint.
Bruno Tremblay, Chief Executive Officer of Jungbunzlauer, stated that von Twistern's operational leadership and international experience will support the company as it strengthens its global production network and advances its long-term corporate growth strategy.
Von Twistern noted that his immediate focus will involve collaborating with site teams across Europe and North America to reinforce operational performance, supply reliability, and product quality for industrial customers.
