Eggo has announced the upcoming nationwide launch of Eggo Zero, a new line of frozen waffles featuring 0g of added sugar. The product range is designed to provide consumers with breakfast options that maintain the brand's established texture profile while addressing demand for lower-sugar formulations.
Product Formulation and Nutritional Profile
The Eggo Zero range is formulated to provide complete protein, containing all nine essential amino acids. To achieve the 0g added sugar threshold, the product uses a combination of monk fruit extract and stevia extract as sweetening agents. The waffles are produced without artificial flavours, colours, or sweeteners.
The line is categorised by the following protein contents per serving:
Buttermilk: 12g of protein 🥞
Blueberry: 11g of protein 🫐

The introduction of the Eggo Zero range aims to support consumers seeking breakfast products that align with lifestyle and dietary preferences without compromising on traditional preparation methods.
