Costa Coffee

Costa Coffee has announced an update to its seasonal menu, introducing new high-protein beverage options and a dedicated bakery bundle. The new range, available in stores from 2 July 2026, aims to integrate functional nutrition into the brand’s existing coffee offering while incentivising afternoon store visits.

Functional Beverage Trial

The brand is launching a High Protein Latte and a High Protein Iced Latte in selected locations. The beverages utilise Costa Coffee’s signature Mocha Italia base and semi-skimmed milk, delivering 23g of protein per serving. This trial represents a move to capture consumer interest in functional, protein-enriched products within the mainstream coffee segment.

The product range includes:

🥛 High Protein Latte: A hot coffee option containing 23g of protein.

❄️ High Protein Iced Latte: A chilled variation of the protein-enriched coffee.

Bakery and Food Service

To drive footfall during the afternoon daypart, Costa Coffee has introduced a scone bundle. This offer is designed to align with the brand’s strategy of leveraging its bakery heritage to complement its beverage portfolio.

The bundle includes:

🥯 All Butter Sultana Scone: Served with Bonne Maman Strawberry Conserve and Cornish Dairy Co Clotted Cream.

☕ Handcrafted Beverage: A choice of small or medium coffee (specific exclusions apply).

The bundle will be available in selected stores nationwide between 11am and 5pm.

At Home Sampling and Merchandise

Beyond the in-store menu updates, Costa Coffee is continuing its "At Home" strategy by distributing free samples of its Smooth Medium Blend Instant Coffee nationwide, while stocks last.

The company is also expanding its non-food revenue streams with new Summer-inspired merchandise, including branded iced cups available in Mango and Dragon Fruit colourways, alongside a range of accessory keyrings.
