Little Caesars has announced a commercial partnership with autonomous delivery platform Coco Robotics to deploy robot delivery across major US metropolitan markets.

The service has launched across participating store locations in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami, with an upcoming expansion planned for downtown San Jose. By integrating directly into existing third-party delivery platforms, including DoorDash and Uber Eats, the automated delivery model aims to accelerate last-mile logistics, lower store congestion during peak hours, and reduce last-mile transport emissions.

Automated Last Mile Delivery Integration

The commercial collaboration places Coco Robotics' autonomous vehicle fleet directly into Little Caesars' existing delivery channels.

Orders placed by consumers through DoorDash or Uber Eats at participating locations can be assigned automatically to a Coco delivery robot. The system operates via direct digital integration, removing manual entry requirements or operational friction for kitchen staff.

Key operational features and technical specifications of the deployment include:

🤖 Autonomous Fleet Deployment: Electric robot delivery units operating across urban corridors to transport orders directly from restaurant kitchens to customer kerbsides.

📱 Third-Party Platform Integration: Automated order dispatch synchronised with DoorDash and Uber Eats marketplace platforms, requiring no extra steps for in-store staff.

🏙️ Metropolitan Market Footprint: Active deployment across Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami, with secondary expansion scheduled for downtown San Jose.

🌱 Zero-Emission Logistics: Fully electric last-mile transport engineered to reduce urban traffic congestion and lower delivery carbon intensity.

Trish Heusel, Vice-President of Innovation at Little Caesars, stated that integrating Coco's autonomous robots allows the chain to enhance speed and guest convenience while alleviating store-level congestion during high-volume trading periods.

Scaling City Logistics

The agreement builds upon Coco Robotics' urban logistics infrastructure, which incorporates machine-learning models derived from real-world operations data across US and European cities.

The data-driven platform enables the fleet to adapt to new municipal environments and traffic patterns while maintaining delivery velocity for hot food items.

Melissa Fahs, Vice-President of Enterprise at Coco Robotics, noted that embedding autonomous vehicles into Little Caesars' high-volume operations demonstrates how urban robot delivery can scale across major quick-service restaurant networks.

The deployment reflects ongoing operational shifts across the global quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector, where leading brand owners are adopting automated last-mile solutions to mitigate rising courier costs, improve delivery fulfilment speeds, and meet corporate sustainability targets.
