The Coca-Cola Company has unveiled a unified global visual identity system designed to drive brand consistency and shelf impact across more than 200 international markets. The visual refresh is rolling out across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, standardising core brand assets across retail environments, packaging formats, digital platforms, and commercial equipment.

The updated design framework amplifies the company's established visual elements, including the core red and white colour palette, the Dynamic Ribbon, the Arden Square, and the Spencerian script logo, ensuring cohesive execution across all consumer touchpoints.

Global Brand Alignment and Scalability

The strategy behind the refreshed identity focuses on maintaining global recognition while providing a scalable structure for regional commercial teams and trade partners. By standardising how visual assets appear across physical and digital retail channels, the brand aims to strengthen consumer recall and streamline cross-market marketing executions.

Arnab Roy, President of Coca-Cola Global Category, stated that the refresh is intended to improve clarity and consistency across all retail and digital environments, establishing a structured visual foundation to support future brand growth.

Rapha Abreu, Global Vice President of Design at The Coca-Cola Company, added that establishing a single visual identity enables the company to deliver a unified brand experience across diverse international trading regions.

Product Variants and Design Specifications

As part of the system update, specific design parameters have been established for individual product variants within the portfolio to ensure clear on-shelf differentiation:

🔴 Original Coca-Cola: Features elevated prominence of the core red and white palette, emphasising the Spencerian script and Arden Square layout across primary packaging and point-of-sale assets.

🖤 Coca-Cola Zero Sugar: Incorporates distinct visual markers, including enlarged "Zero Sugar" typography, a prominent black Dynamic Ribbon on aluminium cans, and a black closure cap on PET bottle packaging to distinguish the zero-sugar option on retail shelves.

Design Intelligence Tools

To facilitate the global rollout and ensure design compliance across decentralised markets, The Coca-Cola Company has introduced a digital Brand Centre alongside proprietary Design Intelligence tools.

The software platform is deployed for internal design and marketing divisions, as well as external agency partners. The tools provide digital asset management, automated design governance, and technical specifications to maintain visual consistency and production quality at scale.
