Cizzle Brands Corporation has introduced a limited-edition variant of its CWENCH sports hydration drink, following the first overall selection of its brand athlete Gavin McKenna in the 2026 hockey draft. The launch of the new product, titled Draft Day Blue, highlights the company's vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities and its approach to athlete-led brand positioning.

The new offering expands the existing CWENCH product portfolio. Utilising the company's internal production facilities, the launch was coordinated to align with the timing of the draft announcement, demonstrating the agility of the firm's supply chain.

The product is packaged in the brand’s standard 500 mL Tetra Pak format. Distribution is currently confirmed for several national retailers, including Shell Canada, CanCo Gas, and Healthy Planet. The product is available as a limited release while supply chain inventory lasts.
The production of Draft Day Blue was facilitated by The CWENCH Hydration Factory. The company’s vertically integrated manufacturing model allowed for a reduced lead time between the concept phase and the final retail-ready product. This operational structure is intended to enable the business to respond to real-time market events, such as high-profile athlete milestones, by adjusting production schedules accordingly.

Athlete Partnership Strategy
The relationship with Gavin McKenna dates back to 2024, prior to his selection as a top prospect. Under the terms of the agreement, Cizzle Brands holds exclusive endorsement rights for the athlete within the sports drink, energy drink, isotonic beverage, and supplement categories.
This partnership is part of a broader corporate strategy to invest in athlete talent during the early stages of their careers, aiming to build long-term brand equity alongside the athlete's professional growth. As McKenna transitions to the professional level, the company intends to maintain this collaborative model as a core component of its marketing and brand development activities.
