Capri Sun Group has broken ground on a new production facility in Stargard, Poland. The project is part of the company's broader strategy to expand its manufacturing capacity and support continued market growth across greater Europe.
The first phase of construction at the Polish site is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027, representing a capital investment of more than €70 million.
Regional Logistics and Markets
The establishment of the Stargard facility is expected to create approximately 120 new employment opportunities in the region. Designed to accommodate further physical expansion in the future, the plant's location was selected to optimise logistics and supply chain execution.
By establishing a manufacturing presence in Poland, the group secures direct access to key markets across Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the Nordic countries. This regional alignment is designed to enable:
Shorter Lead Times: Accelerating delivery schedules to regional retail partners.
Supply Chain Agility: Improving inventory management and responsiveness to localised demand fluctuations.
Roland Weening, Group CEO of Capri Sun, stated that the new facility marks an important milestone in the company's growth strategy by enabling and supporting increasing demand across greater Europe. Weening noted that beyond strengthening the company's manufacturing footprint, the project will contribute to regional economic development through new jobs, partnerships, and long-term industrial investment.
Stefan Seiss, VP of Global Supply Chain at Capri Sun, added that Poland’s strategic position, combined with a strong industrial base, good access to labour, and excellent logistics infrastructure, makes it an ideal location to support the business.
Manufacturing Network Integration
The new facility in Stargard will be integrated into Capri Sun's existing European production network.
The group's flagship production site in Eppelheim, Germany, will maintain its established corporate role, continuing to serve as the company's global centre of excellence. The German site will provide ongoing expertise, technical innovation, and training resources across the company's expanding global manufacturing network.
