Convenience retail major 7-Eleven, Inc. has announced the commercial expansion of its private-label beverage portfolio with the nationwide launch of 7-Select Soda.
Available across participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes retail outlets, the line introduces three classic carbonated soft drink variants in 20-ounce (approximately 591ml) resealable bottles at a value price point of US$1.99.
The rollout builds upon the growth of the retailer's proprietary 7-Select brand, expanding its addressable footprint within the carbonated soft drink category across physical convenience store networks.
Private Label Beverage
The development of 7-Select Soda aligns with broader convenience retail strategies designed to expand proprietary brand ranges and offer competitive value alternatives within high-velocity beverage categories. By positioning the product for impulse purchasing and afternoon consumption occasions, the business aims to drive basket frequency and enhance margin profiles across its corporate and franchise estate.
Nikki Boyers, Vice President of Private Brands, Emerging Brands and 7 Ventures at 7-Eleven, stated that the development of the 7-Select Soda platform focuses on delivering consistent quality, variety, and accessible pricing across the convenience retail sector.
Product Lineup and Flavours
The new carbonated soft drink range enters distribution with three core SKU variations packaged in single-serve bottles:
🥤 Cola Classic: A traditional cola formulation designed to deliver a classic taste profile for traditional soft drink consumers.
🍊 Orange Soda: A citrus-forward carbonated beverage featuring bright orange flavour notes.
🍋 Lemon-Lime Twist: A caffeine-free citrus blend combining tart lemon and smooth lime profiles.
Retail Availability and Pricing
The 7-Select Soda range has commenced nationwide distribution across participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes locations throughout the United States.
Offered exclusively through 7-Eleven's retail banner networks, the 20-ounce bottles carry a retail price point of US$1.99 per unit.
