Food-to-go brand Urban Eat has introduced a new high-protein range of ready-to-eat Chicken Satay Skewers across retail channels.

Produced under Samworth Brothers' Food For Now division, the product launch expands the brand's chilled menu beyond traditional sandwiches and wraps to address growing consumer demand for convenient, protein-dense snacks during daily routines.

High Protein Format and Pack Options

The new product platform features premium chicken marinated in aromatic satay seasoning for 12 hours before being grilled. Formulated to serve as standalone chilled snacks, meal-deal mains, or afternoon daypart options, the products require no preparation prior to consumption.

The Chicken Satay Skewers range enters retail distribution across three distinct packaging formats:

🍢 Satay Skewers Snack Bag: Contains seven chicken satay skewers delivering 8g of protein per pack.

🌶️ Satay Skewers with Sweet Chilli Dip: Features five chicken satay skewers paired with a sweet chilli dipping sauce, providing 7g of protein per pack.

🍗 Satay Skewers Super-Sized: A bumper-sized pack containing ten chicken satay skewers delivering 14g of protein per pack.

Wayne Greensmith, Head of Customer Marketing at Samworth Brothers Food For Now, stated that chicken remains the primary protein driver across front-of-store chilled snacks, adding that the satay skewers are structured to serve both lunchtime occasions and afternoon snacking routines.

Where Is It Available?

The range is available for trade stockists in vibrant shelf-ready packaging designed for front-of-store visibility.

To support store-level velocity and consumer trial across convenience and grocery networks, Samworth Brothers is supplying retailers with dedicated physical and digital point-of-sale marketing assets.
