Rise Wellness has announced the launch of Protein Pop Balance, expanding its Protein Pop portfolio with a clear, lightly carbonated prebiotic soda.

Delivering 15 grams of protein alongside 5 grams of prebiotic dietary fibre per can, the beverage has launched online via proteinpop.com and Amazon, with physical retail distribution expanding to Target and other major retailers in mid-September.

The product introduction debuts in four flavours: Lime Slush, Tropical Pineapple, Watermelon Lime, and Fruit Punch, providing a light alternative to traditional, dense protein shakes.

Functional Formulation and Nutritional Specifications

Protein Pop Balance combines dairy and collagen proteins with prebiotic fibre to support gut health and daily protein targets within a carbonated soft drink format.

Key formulation specifications and nutritional attributes include:

Dual Protein Blend: Formulated with 15g of total protein, comprising 10g of clear whey protein isolate and 5g of collagen.

Digestive Prebiotics and Fibre: Contains added prebiotics paired with 5g of dietary fibre to support gut health.

Zero Sugar Sweetener Matrix: Delivers 0g of sugar, sweetened with a stevia leaf extract blend utilising Reb A and Reb M.

Clean Nutritional Profile: Formulated completely free from artificial sweeteners, caffeine, and gluten.

Carbonation Matrix: Lightly carbonated to offer a soda-like mouthfeel without heavy textures.

Darin Perry, Chief Executive Officer of Rise Wellness, stated: "Protein Pop Balance is all about giving people a lighter way to stay on track."

"It's a smart way to support your gut and your protein goals at the same time — without it feeling heavy. Balance brings together prebiotics, protein, collagen, and fibre in one can that's easy for consumers to grab and go."

Flavour Lineup

The Protein Pop Balance platform enters commercial distribution across four distinct fruit-forward flavour variations:

🍋‍🟩 Lime Slush: A crisp, tart citrus formulation inspired by classic frozen slush profiles.

🍍 Tropical Pineapple: A tropical fruit profile delivering sweet and tangy pineapple notes.

🍉 Watermelon Lime: A summer-inspired pairing balancing sweet watermelon with zesty lime.

🍹 Fruit Punch: A multi-fruit blend delivering a traditional punch flavour profile.

Retail Distribution

The rollout of Balance extends the wider Protein Pop brand architecture into three targeted beverage platforms:

Protein Pop: The original core offering, delivering 22g of whey protein isolate in a non-carbonated, clear liquid format.

Protein Pop Max: Formerly branded as Protein Pop Plus, formulated to provide 30g of protein and bovine collagen in a carbonated can.

Protein Pop Balance: The newest line extension, balancing 15g of lighter protein and collagen with 5g of prebiotic fibre in a lightly carbonated soda format.

All three product lines, Protein Pop, Protein Pop Max, and Protein Pop Balance, are available directly through proteinpop.com and Amazon, with nationwide brick-and-mortar retail replenishment commencing across Target and major retail stockists in mid-September.
