Panera Bread has announced the nationwide rollout of its 2026 autumn seasonal menu platform across US company-operated and franchise locations.
Scheduled for commercial availability starting 19 August 2026, the short-run platform introduces new bakery pastries and cold coffee options alongside returning seasonal beverage SKUs, including the Pumpkin Spice Latte.
The menu expansion reflects ongoing quick-service and fast-casual operational strategies, where early late-summer menu transitions and multi-category limited-time offerings (LTOs) are deployed to stimulate transaction frequency, drive average ticket value, and capture morning and afternoon dayparts.
Fall Beverage Lineup
The seasonal beverage lineup expands Panera's coffee and blended drink capabilities, integrating cold foam toppings and dark roast coffee formulations across hot, iced, and frozen formats.
The four autumn beverage SKUs featured in the promotional menu platform include:
🎃 Pumpkin Spice Latte: A returning hot espresso beverage combining freshly brewed espresso with foamed milk, pumpkin spice sauce, whipped cream, and pumpkin spice crumbles.
🧊 Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte: A returning iced variation translating the classic hot latte profile over ice.
☕ Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee: A new iced coffee option featuring Panera's dark roast coffee combined with pumpkin sauce, topped with sweet cream cold foam and pumpkin spice crumbles.
🥤 Pumpkin Spice Frozen Java: A new blended frozen coffee formulation combining espresso and dairy with pumpkin sauce, finished with whipped cream and pumpkin spice crumbles.
Chef-Crafted Bakery Case Additions
To support cross-category basket building, Panera's culinary innovation team has introduced two new sweet baked options alongside a returning shortbread cookie format:
🌀 Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll: A sweet dough roll filled with cinnamon and pumpkin filling, topped with pumpkin spice icing.
🍰 Caramel Pumpkin Slice: A cake slice formulated with pumpkin pie spices, brown sugar, vanilla, and salted caramel swirls, finished with pumpkin spice icing.
🍪 Pumpkin Cookie: A returning shortbread cookie decorated with iced pumpkin features.
Scott Uehlein, Vice-President of Culinary at Panera Bread, stated that the development strategy focused on pairing bakery-style spice fillings and icings with functional cold foam toppings across beverages to differentiate the brand's seasonal menu from standard drink-only offerings.
Availability
The 2026 autumn product lineup will commence nationwide commercial availability across Panera Bread bakery-cafés from 19 August 2026.
The seasonal items will be available across all ordering channels, including dine-in, drive-thru, delivery, and Rapid Pick-Up®, backed by promotional incentives and exclusive early-access perks offered through the MyPanera loyalty programme to accelerate digital order conversions.
