Monster Energy has confirmed that its upcoming co-branded energy drink developed in partnership with Formula One constructor McLaren Racing will receive an extensive global commercial rollout ahead of the 2027 motorsport season.

Initially previewed to commercial buyers and retail partners at the 2026 NACS Show in Las Vegas as a European release, the zero-sugar, papaya-flavoured beverage will now launch across multiple international trading territories. Commercial distribution is slated to encompass the United Kingdom, mainland Europe, the United States, Australia, and selected markets across the Middle East and Africa.

The beverage is scheduled to land on retail shelves in March 2027, synchronised with the opening Grand Prix fixture of the 2027 Formula One World Championship calendar.

Product Formulation and Packaging

The collaborative line extension matches McLaren’s racing colours with a fruit-forward, zero-sugar formulation:

🥭 McLaren Racing Papaya: A zero-sugar, low-calorie energy beverage featuring a refreshing papaya flavour profile, formulated to replicate the tropical fruit's sweetness without added sugar, delivering the brand's standard functional caffeine and energy blend.

The liquid profile pairs McLaren's signature papaya team colour with a tropical fruit system, mirroring the sensory strategy deployed across the brand’s Ultra and athlete-led lines.

Formulating the beverage with zero sugar and standard caffeine dosages, Monster Energy targets health-conscious energy drink consumers seeking functional performance without sugar intake.

Securing global retail distribution across the US, UK, European, Australian, and Middle Eastern markets, Monster Energy positions the co-branded beverage to drive international volume growth as the 2027 motorsport season gets underway.
