Plant-powered supplement and snack brand INDI has announced the launch of its latest product, the 'Brain Bar', scheduled for retail release in July 2026. The new snack is formulated to support cognitive function and reduce fatigue using a blend of 16 whole-food plant ingredients.
Formulation and Nutritional Profile
The Brain Bar is developed using the brand’s existing 'INDI Mind' superfood powder blend. The formulation includes a base of almond butter and dates, supplemented with chopped walnuts, flax seeds, and puffed quinoa. To achieve the product's chocolate-berry flavour profile, the manufacturer has incorporated cranberries, blueberries, and haskap berries.
From a nutritional perspective, each 35g bar is designed to deliver slow-release energy and contains 6.3g of fibre. The product is fortified with vitamins B12, C, and D3, as well as iron and zinc. The formulation contains approximately 4g of naturally occurring sugars per bar.
In line with the brand’s existing product range, the Brain Bar is 100% plant-based and gluten-free. The manufacturer has confirmed the exclusion of added sugars, artificial sweeteners, flavourings, emulsifiers, and preservatives in the production process.
Distribution
The launch follows the performance of INDI’s previous snacking product, the 'Gut Bar'. With the introduction of the Brain Bar, the company aims to provide a science-backed, clean-label alternative in the functional snack category, targeting consumers seeking cognitive support alongside everyday wellness.
The Brain Bar will be available for purchase through the INDI website and Ocado starting in July, with an RRP of £2.20 per unit. Distribution to independent retailers will be facilitated through wholesale partners, including CLF, Diverse Fine Foods, and Artisan Food Club.
