British dairy brand All Things has expanded its chilled dairy presence with the commercial launch of its first Cottage Cheese Dips, moving the traditional cultured dairy staple into savoury snacking and dipping occasions.
The range launches initially with Sour Cream & Chive Cottage Cheese Dip, arriving across Tesco and Ocado during the week commencing 19 October 2026 at a recommended retail price (RRP) of £1.95 for a 150g tub. A second flavour profile, Dill & Pickle, will debut through the brand's creator network before rolling out exclusively via Ocado later this month, matching the £1.95 price point.
The new product introduction targets the expanding consumer interest in cottage cheese, driven by social media recipe adoption, active nutrition trends, and sustained demand for high-protein, versatile whole foods.
"Seeing how creative people have been with our Natural Cottage Cheese has really shaped our NPD strategy for the second half of this year," said Toby Hopkinson, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of All Things. "Dips were a natural next step following the launch of Smooth, while Sour Cream & Chive was selected for its familiarity and Dill & Pickle provided an opportunity for a more social-first launch. It's all part of taking cottage cheese into new formats and occasions, and there's plenty more to come."
Snacking Formats and Flavours
The new dipping range translates cultured dairy into ready-to-eat savoury snack accompaniments across two distinct flavour builds:
š§ Sour Cream & Chive: Blends smooth cottage cheese with the classic flavour profile of tangy sour cream and chives, formulated for dipping crackers, vegetables, or crisps.
š„ Dill & Pickle: Combines savoury fermented pickle acidity with aromatic dill, capitalising on expanding consumer demand for tart, vinegary snacking profiles across modern retail fixtures.
Both lines are manufactured in Britain and feature front-of-pack claims spotlighting high protein density, live probiotic cultures, and domestic dairy sourcing. Engineered with clean-label formulations, the recipes utilise minimal processing to appeal to consumers scrutinising additive lists in ambient and chilled dips.
Format Innovation in Chilled Cultured Dairy
The introduction of dedicated dips follows the recent rollout of All Things Smooth Cottage Cheese, an earlier line extension designed to eliminate the curded texture that has historically polarised mainstream shoppers.
While traditional cottage cheese has long been merchandised in large-format tubs intended for scratch home cooking or salad preparation, reformatting the matrix into a blended, flavoured 150g dip positions the category directly against conventional cream-cheese-, mayonnaise-, and sour-cream-based chilled dips.
For grocery multiples and online retailers, high-protein dips provide an incremental avenue to drive trade-up within the chilled snacking fixture, giving health-conscious demographics a lower-fat, cultured alternative to standard high-calorie party dips.
Retail Footprint
Founded by chef Thomas Straker and entrepreneur Toby Hopkinson, All Things has grown rapidly across UK retail channels, building a core portfolio centred on premium butter and functional cottage cheese.
The phased commercial rollout for the Cottage Cheese Dips pairs broad grocery distribution with digital exclusivity:
Tesco and Ocado: Sour Cream & Chive launched across supermarket and digital aisles the week of 19 October 2026.
Ocado Exclusive: Dill & Pickle will deploy to digital shelves later in October following targeted social-creator previews.
The brand owner confirmed that it will continue evaluating adjacent dairy categories and new usage formats to expand its commercial footprint across UK retail fixtures heading into 2027.
