Tim Hortons U.S. has announced a comprehensive update to its spring menu, introducing a series of beverage and bakery innovations designed to capture the growing demand for premium cold drink customisation and "comfort-inspired" food pairings.
Leading the launch is the debut of Golden Cinnamon Cold Foam, a limited-time offering (LTO) that serves as a versatile add-on across the chain's cold beverage platform. This strategic addition allows the brand to drive incremental check averages by offering a premium modification for Cold Brew, Iced Coffee, Iced Lattes, and Iced Matcha Lattes.
Cold Beverage Growth
The introduction of a new cold foam variant underscores Tim Hortons' commitment to the high-growth cold coffee segment. The brand also introduced a dedicated Golden Cinnamon-flavoured Iced Capp® to anchor the seasonal lineup.
Maria Posada, Vice President of Marketing for Tim Hortons U.S., highlighted the consumer insight driving the innovation: "Cold beverages continue to be a major area of growth across the coffee category... Golden Cinnamon Cold Foam gives our guests an easy way to elevate their favourite iced beverage with a silky smooth layer of richness."
Protein Latte Momentum
Building on its January introduction, the chain is continuing to push its Protein Latte platform. This functional beverage line offers up to 28g of protein per serving (in the Matcha variant) by utilising a high-protein blend of milk and whey.
The continued focus on this platform signals a long-term strategy to compete with functional beverage chains and capture health-conscious consumers during the morning daypart.

Bakery Innovation: Comfort and Occasion
The food menu sees the addition of three "comfort-inspired" items designed to increase attachment rates across breakfast and afternoon snacking occasions:
Choco Chip Banana Bread Doughnut & Timbits®: Leveraging familiar, nostalgic flavour profiles.
Blueberry Cheesecake Mini Pastries: Targeting the "permissible indulgence" snack occasion.
Seasonal LTOs: March 18 Rollout
Looking ahead to the Easter trading period, Tim Hortons confirmed a second wave of bakery launches starting March 18. This includes the Spring Chick and Spring Egg Doughnuts, alongside a Timbits® Spring Bucket. The bucket format (containing 30 Timbits) is a strategic play to drive bulk volume and "sharing" occasions during seasonal gatherings.
