Deutsches Milchkontor, more commonly DMK, is Germany’s largest dairy cooperative with an output of more than 8 billion kilograms of milk every year. DMK has more than 7,700 employees in total including more than 7,500 dairy farmers as well as 20 production sites in Germany and the Netherlands.

The group produces a broad spectrum of cheeses, fresh dairy products, food manufacturing ingredients, baby foods, ice creams, health products and special animal feeds, which generate combined revenues of €5.8 billion and make DMK Group the fourth largest supplier to Germany’s grocery retailers. Its most recognisable brands include Milram and Oldenburger, which operate across a variety of categories; Dutch Original Cheese; and Humana infant nutrition.

The name Deutsches Milchkontor literally translates as ‘German milk board’, reflecting its cooperative status. The group is headquartered from Zeven, in northern Germany.
