Ball Corporation is a provider of metal and plastic packaging for beverages, foods and household products, and of aerospace and other technologies and services to commercial and governmental customers. Founded in 1880, the company employs more than 14,500 people in more than 90 locations worldwide.
In February 2015, Ball Corporation and Rexam announced the terms of a recommended offer by Ball to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Rexam in a cash and stock transaction. Ball completed the merger, as well as its divestiture of some assets to Ardagh Group, in June 2016.
