Danish-founded lifestyle brand JOE & THE JUICE is aggressively scaling its United Kingdom operations, executing a rapid expansion strategy that concludes 2025 with significant momentum. The chain has confirmed four new store openings within a six-week window across November and December, bringing its total number of UK launches for the year to 16.

This surge in activity is a critical component of the brand's broader global roadmap, which targets a portfolio of over 1,000 branches within the next five years.

Growth Metrics and Market Penetration

The aggressive rollout has resulted in a 31% increase in the company’s UK estate. The portfolio has grown from 68 locations at the end of 2023 to 89 by the close of 2025.

This expansion is being driven by sustained consumer demand for fresh, convenience-led options—specifically the brand’s signature juices, shakes, coffee, and sandwiches. The company notes that its value proposition, centred on empowering healthier lifestyles without compromise, is aligning closely with current UK consumer wellness trends.

Regional Strategy and New Locations

The latest wave of openings marks strategic entries into new regional markets and the fortification of existing hubs:

  • New Regional Entries: The brand launches its first-ever sites in Cambridge (November), followed by Bath and Windsor (December).

  • Manchester Hub: The company is deepening its presence in the North West. Following earlier openings at Manchester Airport and a flagship at Manchester Cross St, new sites include the Trafford Centre (November) and an upcoming location on Mosley Street scheduled for February 2026.

Jon James, UK Managing Director at JOE & THE JUICE, highlighted the operational success of the recent launches.

“The response from UK customers this year has been incredible," James stated. "Each new store we’ve opened has outperformed expectations, which gives us huge confidence as we accelerate our stores into new regions. The UK continues to be one of our most exciting growth markets and we’re looking forward to expanding our reach, this year and next.”

Future Outlook

The Q4 activity serves as a precursor to a larger-scale rollout planned for 2026. Capitalising on the strong performance of its regional debutants, the brand intends to expand further into untapped UK markets, leveraging a growing national customer base to support its ambitious global volume targets.
